My name is Bethany and I am a Craiglist posting alohlic....

So for the past few weeks I have been staying at home, I have taken upon myself to try and "organize" for the new year. I have 10 unfinished projects.
Part of the organization process involves getting rid of stuff we haven't used, worn or much less looked at in 6 months or so. For Steve, it was his some of his beloved hoodies and baseball caps. He keeps everything so I was very proud of him for getting rid of 10 items. Little does he know of the 20 others I took care of....
I made the decision that since I have been pregnant for almost 2 years, it was time to just get rid of all of my pre-pregnant clothes. All items ranging in size from XS-L. I was just about to donate all of it when I thought about Craiglist. I have no way to do a garage sale, which I love because a couple of dollars for my junk is great to me. So I listed some clothes and within a day had an email. This one girl wanted everything I had in a certain size range. The next day I gave her a garbage bag of clothes for $23. In a small way a rip off, but it was going to be donated anyway. So I now have over 20 items listed on Craiglist hoping someone wants it. I have 45 days on Craiglist and then the ad is removed. If it doesn't sell by then, I will donate it.
What's another month and a half for stuff that was already sitting here? This is one of the easiest things I have done. I am hoping to make a little more money but if not I tried.
We are gearing up to start looking to see if we can find a slightly larger place to live around the same amount of money or a little more. We will be looking in Blackfoot and Pocatello. Part of the reason is we do have room for another baby here, but her dresser would have to be in the living room.
And if anyone is interested, we are trying to find a new home for our 7 year old Chocolate Lab, Molly. She is really great but we are not in an ideal situation for her anymore, or for some time.

Changes, Changes, oh and some Changes

So I am a bit behind on blogging, like 4 months or so....
So Isaiah is a crawling machine! He is so fast! I need to find someone to race him against... And he has started to stand on his own! It's only a small amount of time until he is trying to walk. We think by his 1st birthday he may be. Which is only 2 months away!
Since we are having another baby around May 1st, I made the choice to quit my completely amazing job to be a stay at home mom. I know it was the right decision and I am happy with it so far. But it's only been a couple of weeks. I might be begging my former boss to work for free in the coming weeks due to cabin fever.
Steve is on the training board at the Railroad so he goes back and forth to Nampa 2-3 times a week. He has dinner with Greg, Kate and the kids in exchange for the kids to play at the pool. Every time Kelly sees him, "We go play in the pool?!" That's what Uncle Steve-O is good for. On his first run out there Kamryn saw him and said, "Oh that's right, you ride trains instead of working." To the kids he plays with trains all day. It's cute.
We will hopefully soon be finding a new home for our lab, Molly. Soon with another baby and Isaiah and Dad being gone, I won't have time to take her out anymore. Apartment living is going to last a little longer than planned. Such is life.
Our New Year's resolution is try and get a house by the end of the year. TRY.
And the tentative date for Isaiah's first birthday is May 5th since it is a Saturday. I will be posting more often so more information will be up soon.
Thanks for all those you reminded me to post.
