High Five For Friday

1. Lilly being healthly today. She was sick off and on this week.

2. Having a day away from the kids. Where I could read my new book, Twenties Girl.

3. Spending almost every night this week laying in the grass...

4. Ice blocking for the first time down a hill for our Church youth group activity. I only did it one time but it was pretty cool.

5. Preparing for a nice, nothing to do but relax weekend!

High Five For Friday

Hello Everyone on this GLORIOUS Friday morning!

The birds are chirping, my children are still fast asleep, I will actually get a ab workout in with out two small bodies crawling on me, and my house is a disaster. Besides that last one, today is shaping up to fantastic!

1. Playing at the lake last night with the kids for 2 hours while Lilly combed sand and Isaiah threw rocks in the water. Pure paradise. And there was no disagreement that bed time was in fact bed time. And the whole bag of BBQ chips we ate as a family. Oh, yes we did!  

(Why I need to workout today...)

2. Steve finally going in to have a root canal done. For him, not so high five, for me----I WON! I TOLD YOU SO!----He hates the dentist. He thinks they only want our money and to not fix his tooth, which got fixed... and they got our money. But overall, I still won!

3. The young ladies I have the pleasure of teaching at church worked on their skit for Girl's Camp next month. I wanted to pee my pants of laughter, really. 

4. I am about to send in the RSVP to my childhood best friend's wedding that will be in September! Which also means I get to go "home", Washington/Oregon area. (Insert giddy school girl ska-wheel)

5. Eating about 75% of my birthday cake this week without any regret. It's birthday cake, it doesn't count. Ever. Even if my pants won't zip. Kidding, but almost.

High Five For Friday!

So sorry I did not post yesterday, had a change of plans for the day and my best friend and I hung out instead!

Today I am linking up with Lauren from From My Grey Desk!

1. My new hair "tie" from ModCloth that I was telling you about. At first I hated it, but it's not too bad now. This was right before I went to sleep, pardon my face.

2. The picture below has something to do with my new jewelry holder. You will see it Monday!

3. Recently the kids and I went to the Muesum Of Idaho to see Sue, the most complete T-Rex ever found. My son was in awe and amazement the whole time and couldn't stop saying "Wow" and roaring at it.

4. In case he was not home, I gave my husband his Father's Day gift early. The kids got him a wall mount for his guitar. This way they can't play with it anymore. (It's a little too expensive for a toddler toy!)

5. Saw my best friend yesterday!!!!!!!! Girl time was long over due! Sadly it was only for 3 hours, but we will see each other again soon!

High Five For Friday!

Pretty calm week this Friday. Sometimes that is what you need to recharge and be thankful for the weeks of being crazy busy!

1. Helping the Young Women at my church prepare for their girls only camp in July! I did severe weather safety... I hope nothing severe happens because I used Google. 

2. My husband letting me sleep in yesterday until 10 am. Was not feeling well and with children that never happens!

3. The King Tut exhibit opens in 1 week in the neighboring town! I love museums!

4. Being asked for a cupcake recipe I made recently. So flattered... even though it came out of this book:

5. And only one more reunion tomorrow, 3 weekends in a row, and then nothing for the rest of the month!

High 5 For Friday!

1. Yesterday playing at Jensen's Grove with Steve and the kids. Our make shift beach. (A park where you can boat, play on the playgrounds or walk a greenbelt)

2. 2 weeks away from Steve's family reunion we are planning!

3. Helping the Young Women at church sew their first aprons... mine as well. 

4. Making some killer Chocolate Chip Cookies. 

5. Watching Steve try to fix the hot tub on the back porch. And then watching it leak everywhere. It is a rental so we didn't know what was wrong with it. But it is pretty amusing to watch him try to fix it.

2. Having the confidence/stupidity to post pictures of myself wearing something cute here. (When I started this blog I never imagined that!)

3. Getting my daughter's hand and foot cast finally. I had Isaiah's done when he was 3 weeks old. Better late than never. 

4. Tomorrow I am helping my husband's cousin paint her newly built home tomorrow in a giant women's painting day!

5. Mother's Day this weekend! Nuff' said.

I have had a rather calm and quiet week... happens a lot when you stay home.

1. Waiting for a dear friend to have her baby! She is due Wednesday but has been trying to walk her out.

2. Finding a new blog that I am totally in love with, The Mommy in Manhattan. I have always wanted to go to New York.

3. This dress for sale NOW at the J. Bella Boutique! I will have this in my hands next week! It is an amazing Mango color.

4. My 5k is tomorrow!

5. My husband is off all next week for vacation!

So a calm and quiet week. Who doesn't love those? Happy Weekend!

Making cute little manicure bags for the Young Women in my ward at church I have the honor or serving! We did a Dress, Grooming, Etiquette and Exercise night for them. And then gave them mani's! If my husband is home (due to his crazy work schedule) he is going to do this next week to benefit the Crisis Center here in the town we live in! I am just proud he wants to!

We took a fun drive to try and find a location for Steve's immediate family reunion, and this is where we are going! (June 1,2 and 3rd) SO excited!

Lilly can finally have a bow in her hair with it tied back!

2. The new show Scandal on Thursday nights! Totally love it!

3. Getting my first custom order for printables to design... so excited!

4. Peanut butter no bake cookies... enough said.

5. And the best thing of them all... 

My two new items to my wardrobe... Body By Victoria Full Coverage Bras! (found here) They are amazing! I was wearing nursing bras for 2 years... even though Lilly was done nursing 5 months ago. They both finally broke, and really broke. And I should have replaced them sooner, but you just kind of get in the mode of this is what I have so I will wear it. The ladies are finally where they are suppose to be. Thanks Vic!

Happy Friday Everyone!

So today I would like to start with my Birchbox!

1. I got Dry Shampoo (still waiting to use it), Sun Screen Wipes, Harvey Price Perfume (love it), Three flavors of tea, and a Bright Teal Nail Polish. I would love to put a picture up of my really cute nail polish, but my camera is dead and I am doing a two day expo with J. Bella clothing.

2. My husband having Friday and Saturday off! This is a real treat and rarity being a Railroader so I will enjoy it!

3. It is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints General Conference weekend! This is where we watch 4 sessions on t.v. of some of the greatest leaders of our church, including President Thomas S. Monson give us spiritual enlightenment and strength to hold our standards high and be good people. 

4. Lilly being almost able to walk! She wants to take a step and then falls... we are getting there.

5. I have made the decision to run 2, yes 2, 5k's this year. One is at the end of April and the other is in the middle of May. Bring it on Baby!

My yummy breakfast! Pancakes with syrup and Lingon Berries. (Not the best for weight loss right now, but an all time favorite!)

The empty picture of Ice Tea. It was really warm the other day, and yes, this went with my breakfast. My Momma is from the South, don't judge.

If you saw yesterday's post, this is where all my seeds are going in a few weeks. The whole thing looked like the left side last weeks. The other day I spent 2 1/2 hours on the right side, there is some you can't see. It was so fun, and I mean it! 

Isaiah's cool new sneakers he got from an Aunt and Uncle for his birthday!

 

And my latest read, which I will be doing a review on next week! Love it. And if you know me well enough, I really like Victoria Beckham.
