Blanket anyone?

This is the pile of blankets I bring up every morning to my living room. My children's rooms are downstairs and I have to carry both kids, pillows, blankets and their two favorite dolls up with them or it is like I am leaving them behind forever. So on days I don't feel I work out enough, I remind myself of the endless amount of weight I pull upstairs every morning....

You Know You Have a Little Boy When...

Today is my son Isaiah's 2nd Birthday! I just can't believe it has been this long. I love my little Bear so much. And in appreciation of him blessing our lives, I thought I would do another, Little Boy Post.

 What a stud!

You Know You Have a Little Boy When

The most holy of words in his vocabulary must be spoken in only a whisper and drawn out as to give it the proper respect, "ccccaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr". Seriously, it takes him a couple seconds to actually say it.

When going to bed, parting is such sweet sorrow when your cars and balls must stay in the other room. So to remedy this until morning, simply hold one in each hand and insert a third into your mouth. And somehow hold your blanket as well. Really.

Happy Birthday Little Bear, Love You!

You know you have a boy when... Part 2

My son is fast approaching 2. (Small tear...) And little boys have a strange fascination with their, er, manhood. Last night right after bath time I was getting Lilly's pajamas on her I look over and Isaiah is trying to take off his pants and get his diaper off. Not even two minutes after I put them on. I called out hey and grabbed him and he PULL UP his pants faster than I could! I just started laughing. So funny. It's as if the the "playtime" in the bath tub was not enough.

Another thing, when he hears Lilly in her crib when she wakes up from her nap, he always takes her a toy. I started to think how sweet, but then I realized he is giving her the toys he does not want to play with. This way, she will maybe leave his toy cars alone. (One of her favorites)

You know you have a little boy when...

You find him using four sheets of toilet paper for a road to play with his cars.

He puts his cars down his pajamas to keep his sister from playing with them.
