End of Summer Update

I get so good at this for a little while and then it's been a couple of months!

So Steve is still at the Railroad. He rotates from making trips to Nampa and Green River to working in the Pocatello or Idaho Falls yards. He just won a fishing trip through the show "Jared Scott Outdoors". He will be taking his Dad sturgeon fishing in Twin Falls and it will be on TV! He is so excited since it is a $600 trip. He could not sleep the night he found out because he saw his name on the TV and kept replaying the DVR to see it!

Isaiah is running around like crazy! He can say Mom, Dad, Uh-Oh and No-No-No while shaking his finger. Already?! He is so sweet and just a ball of energy. He makes us really happy. He loves going on long walks in the park or taking his Grandpa and Papa Jim on 20 minute "wilderness" adventures. Whenever we see animals there is a good chance he will be blowing kisses at them. And he really does help with the laundry and dishes. He takes things out and puts them back in! And totally loves his sister and gives her loves all throughout the day.

Lilly is just the most beautiful little girl to ever be born! She is now turning on her side and working on getting from her belly to her back. Her smiles can just light up the room and make your day. And her brother and get her laughing so hard she can hardly breathe!

I am now selling J. Bella clothing to have a little something to do besides change diapers (not that I am complaining about being with my babies everyday). It is a home party business and I really enjoy it. I am getting closer to my weight loss goal for the year and I am only 30 pounds from my goal! But I have not felt so good in awhile.

We are hoping to move to Blackfoot in the next couple of months to be in a more central location for work/family. So far we have not found anything. I would rather just buy a house but Steve feels we still really need to wait.

So not a ton has happened but we are really enjoying our summer with tons of reunions and family outings. There really is not a lot more we could ask for. Life is truly fantastic!

The Last 5 weeks of the 4 Barrows

Hello to the few people who follow our blog, it's been a crazy few weeks!

We had Lilly on April 29, 2011 at 8:52 am. She was 6 pounds and 7 ounces. The C-Section went very well. Completly different than my first one. I was totally chill and relaxed and was excited for it. And she is so Beautiful, and a screamer. It is a eye opening experience since Isaiah was almost as quite as a mouse when he would try that young. She came out with a full head of hair! We came home four days later and we thought is was going well. Easy, we thought.

The next morning I woke up with a head ache from my spinal tap. I had it in the hospital for a day and half but it went away. So from Tuesday to Saturday I was bed ridden waiting for it to go away. Laying flat and caffeine were the only things that helped. So Steve got me a couple of 64 ounce Pepsi Maxs and I was up until 6 am the first time, but my head didn't hurt! Things are much more calm and we are settling into a two child home pretty well I think.

The weekend before Memorial Weekend Steve's Grandpa Barrow died. He shed no tears because he knew it was time for him to go. Grandma Barrow died 23 years ago and Grandpa never looked at another woman since. I can only imagine the beautiful reunion they had. The services were great, except I always said I would never have the screaming children in those kinds of things and guess what?! Both of mine were the only ones screaming!

Steve is back to work again on the Railroad and it looks good this time. Being at home together every single day all day really plays on your annoyances with each other! Steve and I also celebrated 4 years of marriage on April 7, can't believe it, we are almost not newlyweds anymore!

Our Baby Girl is Coming!

So this is my last post before our little girl comes. It is Wednesday night and she is coming promptly at 7 am on Friday morning. As of right now I am not worried at all. I am just excited for her to be here! Steve can hardly contain himself.

Which I have to give my husband a lot of love right now. He is so fantastic about taking care of me I don't even know where to begin. I know for the next couple of weeks he will be completely exhausted and I will not hear a word. I am having a C-section and he is going to be doing pretty much everything with Isaiah for awhile and a lot with our little Lilly. He is up before I am in the middle of the night and he is so loving with our son it brings tears to my eyes. (Although I never show him).

I know it's going to be hard adjusting to this new, wonderful life we are bringing into the world but we are ready to have her in our arms and learning about her. I know it will be a little hard on Isaiah for a little while but I know they will love eachother very much. It was not that long ago that they were playing together with all the grandparents so I am sure he will be excited to see her!

It may be a little while before I blog again, so to all a good night and I hope to have a lot of friend's entries to read when I do log back in the first time!

1st Post for awhile...

So it's been a little while, well, a long while.

In the middle of February Steve was laid off of the railroad and just got called back last week. (Yahoo!) We have had a lot of quality time together and I am SO ready for him to go back to work!

Isaiah still has 6 teeth and has starting walking! He is pretty darn good at it but still crawls when he wants to go faster. He now shakes his head no at us... where did he learn that exactly? We started signing 'all done' and so when he is finished eating he signs to us. It is a good start for more detailed communication.

I am scheduled for my c-section on April 29th and then our little girl will be here! I am so excited. Only a little longer. But we do have to be at the hospital at 5 am that day and the surgery is at 7 am. I wonder if I will be able to make myself sleep?...

Otherwise we hope to have some fun activities in a couple of months for Isaiah. Camping, more swimming lessons, Salt Lake Zoo, Lagoon and the fourth of July! Maybe I will actually get half way decent at this and put up pictures with posts.

Changes, Changes, oh and some Changes

So I am a bit behind on blogging, like 4 months or so....
So Isaiah is a crawling machine! He is so fast! I need to find someone to race him against... And he has started to stand on his own! It's only a small amount of time until he is trying to walk. We think by his 1st birthday he may be. Which is only 2 months away!
Since we are having another baby around May 1st, I made the choice to quit my completely amazing job to be a stay at home mom. I know it was the right decision and I am happy with it so far. But it's only been a couple of weeks. I might be begging my former boss to work for free in the coming weeks due to cabin fever.
Steve is on the training board at the Railroad so he goes back and forth to Nampa 2-3 times a week. He has dinner with Greg, Kate and the kids in exchange for the kids to play at the pool. Every time Kelly sees him, "We go play in the pool?!" That's what Uncle Steve-O is good for. On his first run out there Kamryn saw him and said, "Oh that's right, you ride trains instead of working." To the kids he plays with trains all day. It's cute.
We will hopefully soon be finding a new home for our lab, Molly. Soon with another baby and Isaiah and Dad being gone, I won't have time to take her out anymore. Apartment living is going to last a little longer than planned. Such is life.
Our New Year's resolution is try and get a house by the end of the year. TRY.
And the tentative date for Isaiah's first birthday is May 5th since it is a Saturday. I will be posting more often so more information will be up soon.
Thanks for all those you reminded me to post.

Steve-O's Home!

So Steve has been home for about 3 weeks now and we are finally starting to get into a "routine" if you will. Normal life is fast approaching! We both have a three day weekend and then on this coming Saturday he starts taking day and a half long trips on the Railroad. But then he will be home for a day and a half. Now I just want him to keep doing the Monday-Saturday 8-5 schedule! Oh well.

But Steve pointed out a blog some friends of his from high school started called, "The Making of a MILF" about these 2 girls trying to lose the baby weight. I added it to mine and I am excited to see how it goes because I am in the process of that too!

The 1st Post!

As I am new to whole blogging world... please allow me time to get used to it. Over all, for now Steve and I are trying to figure out how to be parents and so far I think we are doing pretty good. Right now he works in Utah at Kenecott Copper Mine and is gone 3 weeks at a time and I work for the Holiday Inn Pocatello. Hopefully soon we will have some fun stories to tell on here, but for now its just a Hello Blogspot!
